About The Game

Drakrais is a souls-like, action-adventure game inspired by the From Software soulsborne series. It has a dark ambience. The level is designed like a maze, offering plenty of exploration and challenges.

Note : The game will provide the best experience while using headphones.

Story  

You play as a knight who enters the dungeon intending to end his life. However, after talking to Listh, an NPC, he takes on the challenge to clear the dungeon. Your mission is to defeat Drakrais, a creature that has been terrorizing the world whenever it escapes the dungeon.

Objectives 

1. Defeat all the Keepers that hold the Key fragments that we need to unlock the arena where Drakrais resides.

Features

Movement : 

Player can walk , sprint and perform roll dodge.

Offense  : 

In combat, you can perform light attacks, heavy attacks, and ultimate attacks. Each sword has its own unique ultimate attack. Light and heavy attacks consume stamina, while spells and ultimate attacks consume mana. You can buy powerful spells from the store to aid in your journey. You can also perform combos with light and heavy attacks and execute backstabs by stealthily getting behind enemies without being detected.

Defense : 

Player can block enemy attacks to reduce the amount of damage taken or  parry the attack to completely nullify damage and stagger the enemy.  Player can perform roll dodge as well which makes player invulnerable to any damage. But be careful of the timing for the parry and roll dodge or you will end up taking all the damage.

Consumables : 

Player can drink potions to restore some of their stats.

Level Up System : 

Player can increase their Health, Stamina, Mana and Defense stats.

Interaction : 

Players can interact with Listh, the NPC who guides and encourages them throughout the game. Additionally, players can interact with chests to obtain valuable items. To open these chests, players need chest keys that can be obtained by defeating enemies.

Check Point System : 

Angel Statues serve as checkpoints in the game. Players must interact with these statues to save their progress. When the player dies, they are revived at the last Angel Statue they interacted with.

Shop System : 

Player can buy items like swords, shields, spells and consumables from the shop. To buy items, player needs coins which are dropped by the enemies when they are defeated.

Hey Everyone ! This is the first game I am uploading on Itch so  I hope you guys Enjoy the Game !

Initially, I wasn't trying to make a game this big as it was a solo college project. It took me two months to complete the project. I'd like your feedback so I can develop even better games in the future : )

Note : All the assets used in Drakrais are Free assets from the Unity Store and Mixamo. If you liked any of the assets and would like to know more about them, all the assets used are mentioned in 'Credits' text file. Check it out and show some love to the creators!
