Manoir
A downloadable game for Windows
About The Game:
Enter the world of Manoir, a short horror escape game. Navigate the shadowy corridors of a forsaken manor, solve puzzles, and confront terrifying entities, including a nightmarish boss. Your only hope lies in mastering a unique combat mechanic that blends power with sacrifice.
This game was inspired by Jimmy Vegas's Horror Game Tutorial.
Story:
Trapped within the desolate walls of Manoir, you are plunged into a realm where darkness reigns and evil lurks in every corner. To escape, you must uncover the manor's dark secrets and face the malevolent forces that dwell within.
Features:
Holy Bullets:
These sacred projectiles deliver double damage to your enemies, giving you an edge in combat. However, each reload of Holy Bullets comes at a cost, draining a small amount of your health. (Feature unlocked after talking to a certain NPC)
Healing Mechanic:
Player can heal their character by finding and consuming mushrooms scattered throughout the environment. Eating a mushroom will restore some of your health. However, there’s a catch—after consuming a mushroom, your vision will temporarily become greenish and blurred, making it harder to see clearly.
Puzzles and Challenges:
Explore the manor’s eerie rooms and solve intricate puzzles to unlock new areas and reveal hidden truths. Each puzzle brings you closer to escaping the manor’s grip, but beware of the dangers that await.
Atmospheric Horror:
Immerse yourself in a haunting environment with chilling soundscapes that enhance the game’s eerie atmosphere. Every moment is fraught with tension as you uncover the manor’s sinister history.
Boss Battle:
Prepare for a climactic showdown with a terrifying boss that embodies the manor’s darkest horrors. This formidable foe will test your combat skills and strategy, requiring precise use of Holy Bullets and quick thinking to overcome.
